Probe rocket project.

For our first student space project, we want to build a single-stage probe rocket, called Marsaut 0. Its role is to allow us to study a monitoring architecture.

Through the use of telemetry (Radio - Lora: 868 Mhz), we want to have the ability to obtain in real time, the flight parameters of the rocket thanks to in situ sensors (Trajectory, Sudden effort, Flight events).

This study will allow us to validate our entire monitoring system, and thus be able to reuse it on future projects.

Our payload is broken down into two parts:

• A system embedded in the rocket allowing the in situ acquisition of flight data and their transmission by a radio module.
• A ground station that can retrieve telemetry and display the various information on a monitor.

MARSAUT 1

Probe rocket project.

This new mission consists of two parts, a powerful launcher capable of carrying a 3kg payload to an altitude of 2000m, and an autonomous demonstrator capable of landing at a given position.

Launcher

The launcher is an improved and enlarged version of our first rocket, MS0. It takes again the great bases of this first project, like the supporting lattice, the aluminium skin... Several points have nevertheless evolved in order to facilitate the assembly of the rocket as well as its use. For example the fact of drawing the rocket in ramp and not in cage. We also change from a pro54 to a pro75 motor, decisions motivated by the increase of the MS1 size: 180cm high for 120mm diameter and a 12kg weight. In the same way, the rocket makes its descent under a conventional round parachute.

Payload

The payload of MS1, which is also the experiment of this project is a 'drone' embarked in the launcher and deployed at apogee. Its objective once released is to carry out a controlled fall and to brake to land at a point planned in advance. The particularity of this system is that it wishes to reproduce the way a rocket with a liquid propellant would land: the thrust vector. For technical reasons, we chose to use an electric turbine providing all the thrust vector and 4 fins directing the flow and allowing to stabilize and control the drone.

MSE

The MSE (MarSonique) project is a supersonic FUSEX.

This launcher is equipped with a pro54 engine, and has a payload capacity of 350g.
The appogee will be at 2500m, with a peak at 380m/s (mach 1.1)

Prometheus

Projet FUSEX

Prometheus is a two-stage FUSEX rocket developed by the "Fuséebulon" team. Our goal is to make the FUSEX operational for C'Space 2025 by successfully achieving stage separation and igniting the second engine to propel the ship.

For the Booster, we are using a Pro 75-3G engine, capable of supporting the rocket's weight, which is around 10 kg. For the Ship, we have chosen a Pro 24-6G engine. Unlike last year, we opted for a lattice framework structure to facilitate assembly and an aluminum skin machined by a third party for greater precision. We are considering the deployment of a payload in the future…
